Monthly Support Meeting 1st December 2016

Our next monthly Support Meeting takes place on Thursday 1st December 2016 from 8pm - 9.30pm. (approx.) in Buswells Hotel, Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 (opposite Leinster House).

If you are finding it difficult to deal with the loss of a baby through miscarriage, please know that you are most welcome to come to the meeting whether you lost your baby recently or long ago.

Remembrance Mass in Newbridge 19/11/16

The Newbridge Miscarriage Mass will be held on Saturday 19th November in Cill Mhuire Church, Ballymany, Newbridge, Co Kildare. It will be at 7pm.

Our Committee Member, Maureen Ward, will be speaking at the Mass.

National Standards for Bereavement Care

The National Standards for Bereavement Care Following Pregnancy Loss ad Perinatal Death were officially launched by Minister for Health Simon Harris in Farmleigh House on Wednesday, 10th August, 2016.

Our chairperson, Deirdre Pierce McDonnell, was delighted to be at the launch along with our committee member, June O'Toole.
A step in the right direction towards a national standard of bereavement care.

VHI Women’s Mini Marathon Monday 6th June 2016

Best of Luck in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon June 2016

Best of luck to all of you taking part in the VHI Women's Mini - Marathon this Bank holiday Monday on behalf of The Miscarriage Association of Ireland. For your convenience, we have a room booked in Buswells Hotel, Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 from 12pm until 5pm where you can leave your bags.

After the race, there will be tea/coffee and sandwiches served (around 4 to 4.30p.m.). A committee member from The Miscarriage Association of Ireland will be present in the room throughout the afternoon.

Hope to see you all there and happy running.

VHI Women's Mini Marathon June 2016

The VHI Women's Mini Marathon takes place Bank Holiday Monday June 6th at 2 pm. It is a 10 km race (6.2 miles).

Entries for this race are now open - see www.vhiwomensminimarathon.ie for more details.

Every step makes a difference so if you are up for the challenge to take that step to getting fit, please keep The Miscarriage Association of Ireland in mind if you would like a charity to sponsor.

Just register for the race on the VHI Women's Mini Marathon website www.vhiwomensminimarathon.ie and then drop an email to :info@miscarriage.ie and we can forward you a t-shirt and sponsorship card.

You can also use.www.idonate.ie to raise sponsorship on-line.

Closing date for registration is April 29th.
