1) Register your place directly on the event website of the event you are taking part in
2) Contact the Miscarriage Association of Ireland – via email at info@miscarriage.ie to request our T-shirts and sponsorship card or use www.idonate.ie to fundraise on-line
3) Have fun training to run.

Other Fundraising Ideas

There are many ways that you can raise funds for the Miscarriage Association of Ireland. You can:

  • Take part in any mini-marathon or marathon organised throughout the country.
  • Organise a coffee morning
  • Hold a pub quiz
  • Organise a dance or a ball
  • Organised a sponsored walk or cycle

Donation following Sale of Paintings - Kate Nolan

On behalf of the committee of The Miscarriage Association of Ireland, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to one of our committee members Kate C Nolan who donated her commission from painting five beautiful landscapes, two of which you see in the picture below, to us.

We were all blown away by Kate’s generosity which will allow The Miscarriage Association of Ireland to continue to provide its core supports of telephone, email, support group meetings, providing information, placing memorial stones, etc whilst also giving us the opportunity to start other projects.

Fundraising Dance in Belturbet on Friday 9th February 2018

On behalf of The Miscarriage Association of Ireland, I would like to extend a huge thank you to Jacinta & Ivor Jones and all the people and businesses of Belturbet and surrounding areas who supported them in their recent fundraiser on Friday February 9th which raised the huge sum of €5,470 for the Association.

The money will be used the Association to continue to provide support and information to women and their families who have lost a baby/(babies) through miscarriage.

Fundraising Walk from Dublin to Donegal in May 2017

Many thanks to Olivia Bradley who spent two weeks walking from Dublin to Donegal in aid of The Miscarriage Association of Ireland and The Alzheimers Association of Ireland.

She raised €4,423.09 on our behalf.

A big thank you to Olivia and all who supported her.

Galway Remembrance Run 28/05/2017 - Thank you

The Miscarriage Association of Ireland would like to extend a huge thank you to Dawn O’Connor and her team who organised the Galway Remembrance Run. It was a 5 km race and 162 people took part. an amazing €1,450 was raised.

There was a beautiful Remembrbance tree at the registration tent. Here people could write special messages in memory of their precious baby (babies).

Well done Dawn and what a beautiful way to remember all those babies gone too soon.

Fundraising in Morriscastle - Thank you

The Miscarriage Association of Ireland would like to extend a huge thank you to Niamh Darcy of Morriscastle Strand Holiday Park (www.morriscastlestrand.com) who raised €1,000 in donations on behalf of the Association.

The funds are much appreciated and will help the committee continue the work of supporting women and their families through the sometimes hidden grief of losing a baby through miscarriage.

Christmas Concert in The Helix - Thank you

A massive thank you to Maureen V Ward Talent Agency and Talented Kids Performing Arts School for putting on a very festive Christmas Concert in the Helix last December in aid of The Miscarriage Association of Ireland and as a result raised €3,091.

This will go along way to help us continue the work that we do to support women and their families through their loss. Thanks again to all the very talented kids, their teachers and parents for all their support and generosity. Also thank you to all those who gave the spot prizes for the raffle on the night.
