Cancellation of Service of Remembrance

Posted on 28/10/2020

It is with deep regret that, due to Covid - 19 restrictions, our Annual Service Of Remembrance can't go ahead in the usual way this year.

Instead we plan to create a video to mark the Service on Sunday 8th November.

We know that this is a very special day for so many people and we didn't want it to pass without marking it and coming together, all be it virtually, to support one and other and remember all our babies.

We would invite you to email "Service" to info@miscarriage.ie with your babies name to be included and remembered in the video by the 30th Oct 2020.

Our Annual Service of Remembrance

Sunday 10 November 2019 at 3pm

St Theresa's Church, Donore Avenue, Dublin 8

Our Service of Remembrance takes place on Sunday 10th November 2019.

This Service is a very special occasion for all who have lost babies and gives them the opportunity to share their experience with others who have also suffered the loss of a child.

It is a time to remember and if possible come to terms with our own personal loss.It is also a time to recognise that for a time, however short; we had the privilege of sharing a relationship with our child. This little life had a meaning and it is necessary for us to give attention to this existence. We may not always understand the “why” but for those of us who have been able to move on, I believe that our lives have been enriched by this painful but hugely significant time of our life.

We extend a very warm welcome to you all and would suggest that you make a note of this date in your diary. Refreshments will be available afterwards in the church to give people the opportunity to have a chat with others attending the service. Our Book of Remembrance will also be available on the day if you wish to make an entry. We hope to see you there.
