Mass in Remembrance of Lost Babies, Dalkey - Fri 16th Nov 2018

Posted on 10/11/2018

Message from The Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, about their Mass of Remembrance -

All parents, siblings, grandparents, relatives and friends of anyone affected by the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, fetal anomaly, neonatal death or any other cause natural or otherwise are most welcome to attend regardless of whether the loss was recent or long ago. We acknowledge that the life of every child born or unborn has a unique meaning and significance and that it is normal for the loss of a baby to cause intense emotions including disbelief, blame, sadness, anger, frustrations and guilt. We hope this occasion will be one of support growth and healing for anyone affected.

The wonderful Children’s Choir from Moyross will be joining us for this special and sacred occasion.

If anyone would like to place a candle in memory of a lost baby on a special table in front of the altar before the mass begins please come a little early. Candles will be available at the back of the church.

Light refreshments will be served after Mass.
